The UK faces a housing crisis. There is an exponential population growth and
a housing deficit. The houses that are developed are often expensive; of poor
quality and mostly built in erroneous areas. Furthermore as the population continues
to increase added stress will be deposited on the UK’s housing and environment. Targeting the high populace in Britain through new
migration laws, post Brexit, does not necessarily address the need for a
sustainable housing solution in the immediate future, although it does have a
crucial part to play in long-term housing planning and strategy.
