Save the Children can be defined as an
international non-governmental human rights organization that mainly focuses on
providing better education, health care, economic opportunities while working
to prevent poverty alongside emergency aids to create significant improvements
for children rights in both developing countries and conflict/war zones. The
organization had established in April 15, 1919 in the United Kingdom by Eglantyne Jebb aiming to feed the children who
were struggling serious starvation after the end of First World War and since it
has a general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social
Council.
