The environment is an important factor that influences the child tremendously and it should be designed to facilitate social construction. Having documentation to capture children’s verbal or nonverbal language and visual traces can help children to share, reflect and interpret their work with others. I strongly urge my philosophy to include approaches that are manageable, durable, affordable, and more importantly within the local context. Next, the concepts of quality, equity, and sustainable development remain a dubiety. Whether there is an issue on quality of the program, equity of early childhood provision or early practices for sustainable development there is always an impact on education. Additionally, if there is a phenomenon that these three concepts can be sorted together and there would not be an issue would be an impossibility. I believe in my philosophy to address this issue I would increase investment in my program in order to expand access to quality early childhood education. In Hong Kong, sustainable societies cannot be built if children are not given the opportunity to develop a strong foundation for development, well-being and lifelong learning (Samuelsson & Kaga, 2008, p.15). Giving children the right to free education will not prevent inequality and that is why we should urge the programme director to be role models for young children with regards to concerns about education for sustainable development and to meet with them regularly. Principals and supervisors in schools can be interviewed by children about their lifestyles to ?nd out whether these are in accordance with the principles of sustainable development. Also, strengthening teacher training as a basis for learning and teaching about education for sustainable development. Pre-service and in-service training of early childhood educators and caregivers in all countries must be revisited and reinforced from the perspectives of learning for sustainability and must be provided regularly (Samuelsson & Kaga, 2008, p.16).  In my philosophy, to have clear objectives and goals for ece I strive to have a strong belief of having inclusion, unity, creativity, integration, equality, diversity, high quality and lifelong learning for children in Hong Kong. To create an evidence-based frame of reference practitioners and families should talk together about early childhood curriculum, assessment, and program evaluation and their relationship to early learning standards and program standards (Naeyc,2003,p.2). To add on, a well planned evidence-based curriculum should be implemented by qualified educators who can promote learning in appropriate ways. This can likewise contribute altogether to positive outcomes for all children. My belief is that a curriculum should be based on evidence that is developmentally, culturally, and linguistically pertinent for the children who will encounter the curriculum and instruction. It should be organized around principles of child development and learning.I intend to apply the processes and standards that would meet the need of children as according to the government policy. In this philosophy, I seek to make use of voucher subsidy in order to facilitate parent’s financial burden and improve their selection of KGs.
